Course content will include 1)Explore gender identity development in childhood, adolescence, and
adulthood. 2)Describe how life stages influence gender exploration and dysphoria. 3) Identify
intersectional factors (race, disability, SES) affecting development. Disability, and neurodivergence
4) Apply developmental theories, including Devor’s and Lev’s models. 5) Describe how the limbic system
affects our experience of sex and gender.
