The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) was a private educational institution based in San Francisco, California, that offered graduate-level programs in human sexuality. It was closed permanently around 2018-2019.
- History: The institute was founded in 1976 by Rev. Dr. Ted McIlvenna, who aimed to establish a comprehensive educational institution dedicated to the study of human sexuality. It was one of the first academic institutions in the United States focused on this field.
- Programs and Degrees: IASHS offered a variety of academic programs and degrees related to human sexuality. These included master's and doctoral programs in human sexuality, as well as shorter-term certificate programs. The curriculum covered a broad range of topics, including psychology, sociology, biology, cultural aspects, and clinical applications of human sexuality.

The International Institute of Clinical Sexology was created by Dr. Carol Clark, a graduate of IASHS. Another IICS Board member, Dr. Marilyn Volker, also earned her degree at IASHS.
